RAID

Until Debian 3.1 (Sarge) was released, installing Debian with software RAID1 support required jumping through various hoops such as is documented in this nice HOWTO: http://www.james.rcpt.to/programs/debian/raid1/

Fortunately, now the Debian installer has the ability to create and install to software RAID volumes.
